What is CERSAI?
Central Registry of Securitization Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI) is an online government registry in India.
It helps prevent fraud related to property mortgages.
All banks, NBFCs, cooperative banks, financial institutions, and small finance banks must register details of loans and security (like property mortgage) on this portal.
To use CERSAI services, organizations must use a Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).

What You Need Before Registering DSC
Before registering your DSC on the CERSAI portal, make sure you have:
✔ A valid Class 3 sign only or combo certificate
✔ DSC USB token
✔ DSC driver/software installed on your computer(ElockClient.exe)

✔ CERSAI User ID and Password
DSC on CERSAI Portal
Step 1:
Go to the official CERSAI website.

Step 2:
Click on the “Login” button at the top right corner.

Step 3:
Enter your User ID and Password.
Step 4:
Insert your DSC USB Token into the computer.
Step 5:
Go to the DSC Registration option(Revoke digital signature)
Step 6:
Select your Digital Signature Certificate from the list.
Step 7:
Click on Register / Submit.
Step 8:
You will receive a confirmation message once your DSC is successfully registered.
